Over a decade ago, Mushroom Guru took root from Craig’s passion and a simple mission: to make the fascinating world of mushrooms accessible to everyone. Like a mycelial network silently expanding beneath the forest floor, our vision has grown, connecting people, knowledge, and innovation.

What began in 2013 as small workshops in our home has since branched out, forming an interconnected community of mycophiles, cultivators, and wellness seekers. We've had the privilege of introducing over 1,000 enthusiasts to the art of mushroom cultivation (fungiculture) through our courses. Many have gone on to start their own mushroom businesses, forming new nodes in this ever-expanding South African fungal network.
