The Mombie

The Mombie (half mom, half zombie): Beauty on a Budget (and Zero Sleep)

Let’s be honest: being a mom of kids and/or teens is a whole new level of chaos. We’re not chasing toddlers anymore - we’re navigating curfews, acne outbreaks, driving lessons, and emotionally charged dinner table conversations. And through it all, we’re trying to keep ourselves from completely vanishing in the background.

At this stage, we’re balancing aging skin, budget constraints, and the lovely hormonal rollercoaster that comes with both perimenopause and puberty (thanks, kids). Between skyrocketing grocery bills, school fees, and your teen’s fourth must-have moisturizer, there’s not a ton left for your own skincare - but you still want to feel good when you catch your reflection in the car mirror at the school pickup line.

We don’t have time for 12-step routines or overpriced fluff that over-promises miracles. What we need is simple:

Because while our teens are still figuring themselves out, we’re still here - showing up, solving problems, surviving on cold coffee, and trying (just a little) not to look like we feel after running a marathon.

We don’t need perfect. We just need practical. Clean, effective skincare that gives us both a little boost without breaking the bank.

Because moms of teens? We’re still in the game - and we’re playing the long one.
