A Day in My (Dr. Joan van Wyngaard's) Life with Vitadurance
Step 1 - Morning implementation
Sports Base Powder
First thing when I wake up, I mix my Sports Base Powder into my water bottle.
It’s my refreshing morning drink – giving me a clean energy boost (without sugar) thanks to alkaline minerals and MSM. Plus, staying alkaline helps delay fatigue - a major advantage for training days.
Joint Active Capsules
With breakfast, I take my Joint Active Capsules.
It’s a unique blend of two collagens:
- Eggshell membrane collagen (type I and III collagen – natural and unhydrolyzed)
- Native collagen (targets cartilage directly to trigger repair)
- Balanced with Boswellia extract (30% AKKBA), Curcumin, and Vitamin K, it’s the perfect daily protection for joints, tendons, and even skin health (I’ve seen incredible improvements in collagen levels!).
PEA Capsules
I take my first PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) capsule with breakfast too.
PEA is my go-to for reducing inflammation, supporting faster recovery, and keeping my immune system strong and ready. If I've had a tough day I take a PEA capsule at night too to help with recovery.
Step 2: Nightly wind down
Acid-Alkaline Capsules
Before bed, I take Acid-Alkaline Capsules.
- They help replenish potassium lost through training.
- They keep my body’s acid-alkaline balance in check overnight (we tend to get more acidic while sleeping).
- They protect bones and muscles, helping prevent nighttime muscle spasms.

Optional Step 3: Immune Support On the Go
Echinacea Spray
I always keep my Echinacea Spray handy, especially when traveling or if I start feeling the early signs of getting sick. Echinacea works by blocking viruses from entering your cells - so it’s powerful both as prevention and as early treatment.
- I use it normally once or twice a day while traveling.
- If I feel something coming on, I up the use to 5 times a day to hit it hard and fast.
